I am LOVED – A Freeing Revelation

I am Loved – A Freeing Revelation

There is much written about affirmations, I am strong, I am worthy, I am enough, I am happiness, I am abundant, and many more.

The power of declaring “I Am ______” is well recognized in self-development circles along with the power of our spoken words in general.

Our words are birthed as thoughts and so the thoughts we think, even if they never see the light of day as words spoken are immensely powerful.

It is easy to get caught up in the specifics of who we want to be in any moment, reaffirming “I Am Strong” when needing courage, or “I Am Worthy” when we feel less than we really are, or “I Am Enough” when we are distracted by comparison.

The truth is “I Am Loved” is our anchor, our unchanging truth, the foundation upon which all else rests.

I was hit with this realization today, whenever I jump on the “I Am” train of negativity, dwelling on all the things I think in that moment I am not, all I need to do is STOP and declare “I Am Loved”.

How is it possible to reason I am not enough, I am not worthy or anything else for that matter when I know without a doubt that I am loved? When I can accept that I am loved then I am also enough, I am also worthy. And I can take that knowing that I am loved to step into courage, confidence, health, happiness, kindness and so much for.

Knowing that I am loved for who I am, imperfectly perfect, unique in every way, created with passion and divine purpose, is a foundation I can come back to know matter what is happening around me or where my fears try to take me.

Always remember…

You Are Loved!

“Though our feelings come and go, God’s love for us does not.” C.S. Lewis

“You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” (Psalm 139:16)
